A certified true copy is a photocopy that a notary public has compared with the original and certified as a true copy. Organizations ask for them so you never have to hand over your original passport, degree or licence.

Who has to come in
Only the person the document belongs to can have it certified, and the original must be shown to the notary. We photocopy it here, so you do not need to bring copies.
Fees
Notarization from $30 per document. Ask us about a discount when you bring several documents in one visit. Drafting is available; the fee depends on the document and may involve additional charges, so please tell us what you need drafted and we will quote before any work begins.
Frequently asked questions
Can you certify a copy of someone else’s passport?
No. The holder of the document must attend in person with the original.
Can you certify a copy of a document I only have digitally?
A certified true copy attests that the copy matches an original we have seen. If you only have a PDF or photo, tell us what the receiving organization needs and we will explain your options.
Will a certified copy from Notary Point be accepted abroad?

How many copies can I get?
As many as you need. Certified copies start at $30 each, with a discount for several documents in one visit.
